The Skagit MRC Shoreline Needs Assessment project provides for an improved way to evaluate the health of our shorelines and identify areas most in need of restoration and protection for nearshore habitats and species. The objectives of this project are to:
- perform science-based analytical studies and research using current data
- enable the MRC to respond more quickly and effectively as resources are available
- communicate MRC efforts to the public
