Who We Are

Established in 1999, the Skagit County Marine Resources Committee (MRC) is one of seven citizen-based advisory committees formed under the congressionally-authorized Northwest Straits Marine Conservation Initiative as part of a grassroots effort to protect, enhance, and restore our marine resources. Skagit MRC committee members represent diverse interest groups appointed by the Skagit County Board of County Commissioners.
